The Founder

Tom Sutterfield is the founder and principal technologist at rSynergy.  His twenty years of IT experience include working with several successful startups, including DBT Online, Inc., a large public records company providing data to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies; and KnowX.com, a background screening company. 

 

In his tenure at DBT, Tom served in several senior technology roles including chief technology officer.  In 2000, DBT was purchased by ChoicePoint Inc., where Tom continued for four years as the assistant vice president of technology before leaving to create rSynergy, Inc. 

 

Tom has earned an ‘Executive Masters of Science in the Management of Technology’ from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and has a unique ability to bridge the gap between business and IT.
